  • American Sign Language is a 'normal' means of communication for those who are deaf. There are many reasons why a person picks one form of commucation or another, none of which are deemed abnormal. I think that term is applicable to you.

  • If you prefer 'Next Generation' where does that leave you in this argument? I loved watching both Star Trek with Shatner and the Star Wars movies as a kid, but thought 'Next Generation' was something an adult could watch and enjoy without feeling guilty (lol).
